Projektbeschreibung
For one of our Client based out in Belgium, we are seeking for a expert System Administrator.
As the System Administrator, your main responsibilities will be Application Management. There are different applications used in two sides off the business (Concrete and Aggregate)
- In Aggregate our client use an application, which is a custom build application (Web Front End + SQL Server 2014).
- The consultant role is to troubleshoot any problems with the SQL part off the application, or to write SQL query's (basic).
- The adequate consultant will also be supported by an external partner to write more complicated SQL queries. So you could describe his role as SQL Management
- There is still an older part off the application which is being migrated but runs on Oracle instead of SQL, so the consultant should also do some Oracle Management
- In the Concrete business side of our client, they use an application "CE" which is also a custom build application to support various parts of the business (invoicing, deliveries, warehouse, tax flows probably panama papers stuff)
- The role of the consultant will be the same but the SQL version is SQL 2005, troubleshooting and SQL management in general.
- UPS Management, the consultant also handles the management off UPS devices, in particular APC make, 1500 and 3000 models.
- Besides that the consultant also does, sometimes, some general IT stuff for local and remote offices, like installing or repairing PC's, printers, replace Hard disks in Servers, You could best describe this as good general basic knowledge about all IT related technologies from PC's over Printers to Servers. In this context the consultant will also advises first and second line helpdesk.
- Lastly, the consultant will also spend a considerable amount of time as an advisor Consultant for various projects, nationally and internationally. The point will be to act as an interface between the business, IT and project managers. In this context you will be in contact with end-users and give the necessary feedback to project managers or IT managers.
