Participates in the implementation, deployment and maintenance of applications within the Web Services product offerings.

Performs daily tasks relative to operational and application support of the Web Services products. These tasks include monitoring, backup/restores, application availability, scheduled/non-scheduled maintenance, release management, code deployment and configuration management.

Maintain effective working relationships with clients Data Center and Development staff.

Work to resolve technical issues escalated from other teams and/or Web Services Customers.

Respond to, and resolve alerts from application monitoring systems to ensure Web Services application availability 24 x 7.

Documentation of application management, configuration management, release management, systems architecture and administrative processes.

Work with management to provide regular status reports of given project tasks.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

3 years experience performing Systems Administration on the Windows Server platform and one Linux Operating System platform (Oracle Enterprise Linux preferred)

Must have experience with the following:

Software development life cycle and deployment management

Experience delivering and supporting enterprise level web based applications to external customers.

A solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, routing, switching, Firewalls and WAN connections.

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.

Experience with systems that connect to central storage devices, NAS or SAN.

Professional certifications such as MCSE or CCNA are a plus
