System Administrator

Link Technologies is currently recruiting for System Administrator for a long term Contract in Dahlgren, Virginia. 

Job Description:

Responsibilities include the complete management of the LAN.  This includes sole ownership of the support for Servers, Switches and networks.  Required to work with additional Administrators in other locations, but no travel is required.  Job requires solid architecture and engineering knowledge. 

Job Duties:

- Sole responsibility for managing and maintaining LAN
- Support of Servers, Switches and workstations
- Active Directory, Group Policy, Patch Management
- Administration of Servers (eg user account creation, deletion, and maintenance, print queue creation, etc.) and related client support.
- Analyze, develop, implement, maintain, and modify computer operations, systems, networks, databases, applications, and/or information security.

Required Experience and Education:

- Possess a minimum of four (4) years' experience as a System Administrator. 
- Min. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Active Directory
- Administration of Servers (eg user account creation, deletion, and maintenance, print queue creation, etc.) and related client support.
- Extensive administrator experience that includes large complex networks
- Strong understanding of server, switch and network support/troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills
- Security clearance minimum of secret
- Either CISSP or CISM certification
- Cisco Certifications and Microsoft Certifications
- Knowledge of architecture and engineering
