Sysadmin/Migration Consultant - Amsterdam - €42 per/hour

SYSADMIN/MIGRATION CONSULTANT - AMSTERDAM - EURO;42 PER/HOUR

The role entails migration from Windows 2000, 2003 to Windows 2008 or 2012. You will need to identify existing applications and explains the requirements in detail so that colleagues can configure the server properly.

You will work on multiple migrations simultaneously and provides an accurate and detailed record of the requirements (English documentation). To issue this command correct interpretation is a technical background (Scripting) and experience in migrating applications to a new Windows version is necessary.

Required experience/knowledge

- Several years of experience as in a complex organization is a must
- Several years of experience with WINDOWS Server and Scripting (knowledge of VBScript, PowerShell and CMD Batch commands) is a must
- Experience in MIGRATING applications to a new Windows version
- Good general knowledge of networking, Middleware, databases (SQL, Oracle), other OS (Unix/Mainframe), security, packaging, etc. desirable
- Fluent DUTCH 42 PER/HOUR
