SYMANTEC ENTERPRISE VAULT ENGINEER

Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.

We are looking for a Symantec Enterprise Vault Engineer. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Scope of work:

- support for RRAP project (RFC, PoC, Implementation)
- process MyMail and ECC Book of Work (>100 open items)
- Consulting: provide advice and support in regards to requests from Messaging & Compliance Operations, Email Product Management, Project Management, Architecture, Legal & Compliance etc. Handle business-as-usual service requests.
- Engineering: Maintain test labs, design, build, document, test and hand-over new releases Messaging products and components.
- Project work: Support an upcoming HW and SW lifecycling project in the area of Records Retention and Archiving.

Skills:

- Symantec Enterprise Vault
- Microsoft Exchange 2010 and companion products
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Powershell and SCOM would be an advantage
- HP Automomy or EMC Pivital is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Project management and documentation skills
- Languages: English, German is a plus

Experience:

- Systems engineering
- IT Infrastructure projects
- 5 years Messaging & Compliance Engineering or Administration in a Software lifecycling project experience is a plus
- Programming skills are a plus
- Enterprise scale IT experience
