Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

Synergy Consulting Group is looking for a Symantac Endpoint Protection Manager for a 4 month contract with a Fortune 500 company in Clevleand, OH.

In this position, you will perform design tasks and develop components of application and technical architecture, develop test cases and data and execute tests for the application or technical architecture components.

The pay for this position is up to $40 per hour, depending on skill set and experience.

Responsibilities:

Work with other programmers, designers, and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals
Participate in code reviews
Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project, fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing, document the application to facilitate maintenance.

Qualifications:

Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience in supporting Symantec Endpoint Protection manager server and Workstation clients in an enterprise environment.
Installation, configuration, and day-to-day management of Symantec Endpoint Protection
Troubleshooting and tuning the performance of Symantec Endpoint Protection in the enterprise environment.
Experience supporting, deploying, and managing Microsoft desktop environments (Windows XP and Windows 7)
Proven understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, group policies and related to a desktop environment
Expertise in PC hardware, related peripherals, and unique configurations
Experience with mission critical services and applications in a large enterprise environment
Experience using and troubleshooting System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and operating system deployments
Experience deploying Widows Security patches using WSUS to workstations in an enterprise environment.
