Sybase DBA Senior

Sybase Database Administrator wanted for an international bank located in Zurich.
YOUR TASKS:
- Advocating the development phase in a critical project, including but not limited to, task execution; backup, restore and clone of the instances, problem solving, active monitoring, Access Management etc.
- Designing of solutions and implementation of DB infrastructure solutions
- Keeping up releases and deliverables of projects
- Elaborating of DBA solutions and project advice
- Responsibility for project DBA requests as part of a DB integration team
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Hands-on expertise of min. 5 years IN SYBASE ASE DATABASE ADMINISTRATION ON LINUX/UNIX PLATFORMS as well as 3+ years EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF PRODUCTION SUPPORT
- Knowledge in using Sybase Replication Server/Sybase IQ
- Background in MSSQL (2008/12/14) would be beneficial as well as a background in the financial sector
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
START: 11/2015
