Sybase Database Developer (Dutch Speaker)

SYBASE DATABASE DEVELOPER (DUTCH SPEAKER)

One of Europe's largest and reputable banking clients are urgently looking for an Dutch speaking Sybase Database Developer to work in a progressive environment for a 12 months' contract in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

THE IDEAL SYBASE DATABASE DEVELOPER WILL HAVE 70% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

* A completed study at least at HBO level;
* At least 5 years of experience in a relevant (IT) function within a development environment of a large and complex organization
* Senior expertise in Sybase (ASE or IQ)
* At least 3 years of experience of working in large data warehouses (> 1 TB)
* Extensive banking experience, preferably in the area of Credit Risk.
* Experience with working in cross-functional BizDevOps teams using the Agile/Scrum methodology
* Experience with automating working processes

YOUR ROLE IS VERY VARIED AND NO TWO DAYS ARE THE SAME, BUT YOUR MAIN TASKS/DELIVERABLES ARE:

1. Analyzing and Designing, Developing and Adapting the complex software applications;
2. Integrating programs and functionality on multiple platforms;
3. Performing tests of various types
4. Driving Continuous Delivery improvements..
