Sybase Database Administrator

For our client, a major bank, we are currently looking for candidates with strong experience in Sybase Database (min. 5 years) and at least 3-5 years production support experience.

YOUR SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Professional DBA of Sybase 15
- Experience as a Sybase Infrastructure DBA, ideally within the financial sector
- Good knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems with VERITAS clustering and volume manager
- Knowledge of installing and configuring Sybase Servers
- Good Sybase and basic Scripting language knowledge
- English skills
- Good communication skills
- OnCall readiness
- ability to build and maintain customer relationship
- experience in writing documentation
- ITIL
- German skills
