Swiss Based C# Developer

SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER (WPF, WCF)

Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with WPF WCF experience. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Job Description:

To expand the existing team we are looking for an experience developer, which has beside the technology skills ideally some experience in portfolio management and finance. In this core role you will work closely with other members of the development team, business analyst and project manager.

Responsibility will include design, development, maintenance, documentation, unit testing following appropriate software development life cycle (Agile SDLC) processes and methodologies. Contribution to on-going improvements of existing solutions.

The ideal candidate should have:

- Work Experience: Minimum 5 Years in technologies listed below
- Technologies: Microsoft .NET, C#, WCF, WPF, MVVM, Prism
- Relational database design (SQL Server)
- Experienced within the financial services sector (surplus if in Investment Banking or Asset Management)
- Tenacity, self-motivation and an ability to work under time pressure
- Degree or similar in Information technology
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
- Fluency in English, preferably also German
