SWE Assen

The role:

* Will be responsible for the preparation of plans (identify/mitigate key project risks and opportunities) according to the GWDP & rDtL principles,up to conceptual well design endorsement in close collaboration with the Well Delivery Rig Team.
* The Senior Well Engineer will take the project from planning to operations (they execute what they have planned).
* He/she ensures that his/her team provides consistent and cost-effective projects plans and that wells are designed/constructed economically and efficiently over their full life cycle to achieve goal zero and top quartile.
* This includes the identification and implementation of new capabilities and technologies. Besides wells project the SWE supports the delivery of actions as listed in the yearly LCWE and land rig QHSE/BIP plans and supports the WELLS organisation to achieve its delivery targets.
* The work-scope entails a range of land and offshore asset projects; exploration & development wells and potential future development projects (e.g. Ultra slim well project, De Wijk N2 EGR,HPHT and other new projects) .
* The SWE provides the foregoing without compromising health, safety and environmental standards and in accordance with Statutory Regulations and Company Policies.

Requirements:

* Degree in Engineering or Physical Science or equivalent.
* Significant experience within Well Engineering and Well-site Operations, this would have been gained from roles such as Drilling Engineer, Well-site Drilling Engineer and Drilling Supervisor.
* Proven safety leadership.
* Strong business sense.
* Competent in all Drilling and Well software.
* Eligible to work in the European Union.
