SW Engineer with Solaris (f/m)

Harvey Nash are a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing.

For our client, a global Telecommunications company focussing on Chipset R&D we are looking for an LTE FW Engineer on a freelance basis (f/m)

Project Start: February 2017

Project duration: 12 Months

Location: Munich

Tasks:

- 2nd and 3rd Level support for data processing/data analysis applications for Silicon test analysis
- handling of operational issues of applications in cooperation with users and IT team
- Adaptation and configuration of the system/applications
- specification, testing and rollout of new software releases on UNIX and Windows platform (clients and servers)
- Implementation, testing and deployment of UNIX/Linux/Solaris based scripting solutions
- general user support & consulting in English and German language

Skills:

- Solid hands on experience with UNIX/Linux/Solaris software installations and scripting implementations (bash, PERL)
- Good hands on experience on Windows platforms (Windows 8, Windows Server 2012)
- Solid experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL implementations
- Solid experience in Java programming
- Solid English communication skills
