Annual Salary - £22,443 - £28,922

Full Time - 37 Hours Per Week

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Based in Chelmsford County Hall

As a Sustainable Travel Information Officer you willl be required to promote sustainable travel opportunities, policies and the work of Essex County Council through a range of internal and external information channels in order to create a positive awareness and understanding of sustainable transport to encourage modal shift.

You will be expected to deliver the relevant statuary requirements of the Transport Act and Education and Inspections Act in relation to sustainable travel promotion and information, including the Local Transport Plan, Essex Schools and Colleges Sustainable Modes of Travel Strategy and ensure they remain responsive to new legislation

The succcessful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate:

- Project management experience
- Excellent IT skills including database management
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Background in sustainable transport

Any successful applicant to this post would be appointed on a fixed term contract.
