As an integral member of the surgical team, the surgical technologist works under the supervision of the surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

Knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures

Knowledge of implantation tools and technologies to facilitate the physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures

Position Qualifications:

Graduated from an accredited school

Certification as a Surgical Technologist
