SUPPORTED LIVING SCHEME MANAGER - MATERNITY COVER - EXETER - £22000-28000 PER ANNUM PRO-RATA

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced supported living scheme manager who has good knowledge and experience of working with LD and mental health clients. You will need good knowledge of the CQC regs and care standards, business acumen and work to KPI's. Good IT skills are also necessary.

Initially this is a 6 month temporary maternity cover post but flexibility will be needed to cover for a further period of time if necessary. You will need to be qualified to level 5 or level 4 as a minimum and be an excellent communicator, motivated and passionate about the delivery of high quality care services with person centred care focus with the emphasis on the needs of the service user.

You will need to have excellent communication skills and be an approachable, cheerful, enthusiastic and positive manager with strong leadership skills. Our client is looking for a manager who can support and value staff and who is a caring manager who can recognise the extra training needed regarding staff performance and development.

Your role will include planning weekly staff rota's using the Cold Harbour system; you will also cover on call duties on a rota basis.

Our client is looking to develop this supported living scheme further and you will need to be proactive in communicating with care managers and external agencies in the taking on of new referrals and placements. You will also be required to deputise for the area manager in their absence from time to time.

Training and support will be given along with an excellent salary for this challenging but very rewarding role.
