Supportability Engineer

Supportability Engineer required with skills & knowledge specifically associated with the development of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the below tasks:
Manage the AGE delivery programme.
Manage the Sub-Contractor Statement of Work (SoW).
Support AGE activities procured elsewhere.
Be the Point of Contact for AGE.
Delivering all the mandated AGE associated documentation, primarily Multi-Role Combat Aircraft Aerospace Ground Equipment Requirement Data (MAGERD) and the physical hardware.
Ensuring that any changes to programme AGE are controlled and costed.
Ensuring that the AGE is within the terms 'Fit for Purpose'.

To do this, the Supportability Engineer (ILS) will be required to:
Develop an AGE project support strategy.
Take the lead in organising design reviews.
Work closely with other ILS Team Members to ensure associated deliverables Technical Publications, Training, Spares etc are co-ordinated.
Interface with the Customer and the AGE Sub-Contractor.
Attend Programme, Design and ILS Reviews, to ensure the impacts of any associated risks are reduced.
Please note that this position will require travel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the below skills:

Essential:
Intimate Knowledge of MAGERD Process for AGE.
Ability to raise internal and vet subcontractors MAGERD Deliverables.
A working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.

Highly Desirable:
Aircraft Ground Support Equipment experience.
Royal Saudi Air Force programmes/in-Country experience.
Mechanical Equipment Acceptance, Test and Handover Processes.

Desirable:
An understanding of relevant processes.
Aircraft weapons systems experience.
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) experience.
Well developed planning and organisational abilities.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
