SUPPORT TOOLS TECHNICAL 3RD LEVEL SUPPORT - HP QUALITY CENTER/MS SQL SERVER

ROLE PURPOSE

The role of the SP Technical Support 3rd level is to be a link between the functional tools owners, the Nestlé technical team and the tools vendors, for a set of applications bought and packaged for the Client's environment. Follow up packaging and test process and manage tools upgrades and bug fixing.

Coordinate support for a set of packaged/vendor tools.

MAIN RESPONIBILITIES

Activities/tasks description:

You're the technical owner of a set of tools distributed worldwide to the Client's employees. Including HP Quality Center, Opinio e-survey, and several Learning & Training tools.

1) The main role is to be the first contact point for the tools functional owners, to investigate on bugs, coordinate changes, tool upgrades and tests.
2) Client-side packages: Follow the whole Client packaging process when a tool needs to be patched or upgraded. Pre-tests, package request, communication with packaging team, package tests in different environment, coordinate user tests, deploy package.
3) Server Side support: handle support on the Server Side, install and document patching in test environment and coordinate the deployment in production with CATI/WIPRO teams.
4) Deal with daily incidents (tickets) 3rd level, help users directly or investigate with the vendor to find permanent fixes/patches if needed.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED (TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, LANGUAGES, SPECIALISATION):

Required language is English. Candidates are expected to have a good HP Quality Center Server Side knowledge, as well as ability to navigate and investigate in different Windows (client and server) based applications to find problems root cause. MS SQL basics knowledge is also required.

APTITUDE AND PERSONALITY:

Candidates must be motivated to work on their own with minimum supervision, as well as being able to work with others in different teams with different skills. Candidates must be customer-focussed and user oriented, with the ability to help end-users.
