THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Windows 7 deployment
- Office 2010
- Help desk
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Provide desk-side support to users post deployment
- Walk around a physical area to identify customers that need support after their Windows 7 deployment
- Provide desk-side support services to customers
- These resources will be the primary means of support on Day 1 after deployment. Currently, the plan is to have these resources physically walk around a deployment location to proactively reach out to customers to identify a need for help and to address situations as they are raised directly by the customer. The possibility to increase automation and self-service may eventually exist but initially a physical presence will be required to supplement and remove burden from the service desk. In some instances the resources may need to work with the CA Service Desk Management solution for logging tickets and documenting knowledge articles.
