For our client, we are looking for a support team member in Geneva.

Duration: 1 year

The support team is an ideal opportunity to gain an overview of the private banking platforms and operations. The team uses detailed knowledge of business, business processes and applications to anticipate or respond to any incidents and restore services as fast as possible. Depending on the nature of the problem some quick developments might be required. The role requires attention to detail, an awareness of potential risks, critical timing involved and an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Middle Office and Back Office functional support;
- User Training;
- Mass data uploads (Credit ratings, trades from external systems);
- Bug analysis and reporting;
- Support for User Acceptance Testing.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience handling multiple requests and queries at the same time;
- Continued dedication to providing best of class service at all times;
- Communication skills, analytical skills and validation skills;
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy;
- Fluent in English;
- Team player and leadership skills;
- Use of good judgement - customer orientation.

KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of the different financial instruments is desirable although training will be given to the right person. Math/analytic background, securities industry business knowledge for example Equities, Fixed Income and derivatives is key but not required.
