Support Specialist - Level 2 - Service Orientated Architecture

Projektbeschreibung

Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) Level 2 Support Technical Team Member to:- - Monitoring of the supported systems and proactively respond to issues.
- Daily system health checks
- Monthly after hours health checks and coordination of regression testing post critical security patching
- Engaging with end users to assist in their incident resolution.
- Work with other system/application owners to assist with resolving issues related to their use of the supported systems
- Assisting capability projects with their documentation and deploys into the SOA environments
- Identification and proposing of improvements to supported systems
- Attendance at meetings and workshops as required
- Onboarding of new service consumers
- Identity management for users of the supported systems
- Deployments and verification testing of new capability/services onto the SOA backbone
- Attendance at technical forums where they apply to the supported systems
- Input into project documentation at the architecture and solution overview level.
- PKI - monitoring, creating updating certificates. Troubleshooting issues
- Write/update technical documentation on support tools, processes, troubleshooting guides, environment support, improvements, tips, service desk Knowledge Articles
- Root Cause Analysis of high impact issues.
- Configuration changes to IBM products (MQ, WAS, LDAP, TIM/TAM, TFIM) and Solaris/RHEL Servers
- Develop bespoke scripts, applications, and automated scheduled tasks to aid operational efficiency
- Knowledge transfer and transition to sustainment assistance for new capabilities
- Input to project design

After hours deployments into production environments.

Duties/Task Description - the deliverables/results the contractor will be expected to achieve:

Able to be part of an on-call team rotation for 24x7 support
