for our client in Munich we are currently looking for consultants for:Support French Client Derivatives (m/f)

STARTING SITUATION:
Among other things, the Sovereign Finance, Public Sector department manages client derivatives that have been concluded with French local authorities & regions. Most of these clients have now taken legal action before the end of the limitation periods and are challenging the conclusion of these transactions.
Our client therefore currently finds itself in an extreme situation and at the same time has to negotiate with many counterparts in order to achieve the most advantageous economic outcome. The physical distance and the language barrier are making the negotiations difficult and are often putting our client into a time squeeze.

OBJECTIVES:
The accumulation of cases currently arising, which are already quite complex individually, now makes it necessary for our client to introduce a project to resolve these cases in a reasonable time and to end the legal disputes with the counterparts as soon as possible
At the same time, close contact needs to be kept with the external lawyers acting for our client

Special Requirements/Knowlegde:
In-depth knowledge of the public sector derivative business in France and of the counterparties
Fluent French speaker
onstant local presence (Paris) for the duration of the project
special negotiating skills
knowledge of the legal situation in France and of the current developments

START: ASAP
DURATION: 12 months (Extension: + 6 months)
WORK PER WEEK: 2-3 days
