Support Expert User Interface (UI) for Test Equipment (ATE) m/f

Our client is an international operating company in the semiconductor area. For its location in Munich it is looking for as Support Expert User Interface (UI) for Test Equipment (ATE) m/f

Type of contract:Unlimited permanent position direct with our customer

Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the 2nd and 3rd Level support for Automated test Equipment User Interface applications
You will do generally user support & consulting in English language
You will handle operational issues of applications in cooperation with users and the IT team
You will be responsible for the requirements engineering and implementation with external partners
You will adapt and configure system/applications
You will test and rollout new software releases on Windows and Linux platform

Your Qualifications
Degree in computer science or similar
Minimum about 3 years of professional experience
Profound knowledge regarding Windows platforms (Windows 2000, XP, 7, 8, Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012) and Linux platform (RedHat, SUSE)
Very Good experience in C++, C#, PHP, Visual Basic 6/VBA
Basic ATE Tester software experience (e.g. Teradyne IGXL, Verigy SmarTest) is nice to have
Experience with inter-process communication and network communication would be a plus
Fluent English language skills
