Our client's services are highly available, mission critical services, handling a very large number of transactions and having a direct impact on the seller experience and customer experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Support Engineer/SDE on the E-commerce platform team, you will help teams launch new businesses. You will also represent the client and the E-commerce Platform as you manage and resolve technical inquiries from our customers that want help using our services to sell and buy on our websites worldwide. You'll work directly with engineers and managers to ensure that customer issues are resolved as expediently as possible. As a key team member you will automate, troubleshoot, debug, evaluate and resolve customer impacting issues with a focus on detecting patterns and working with the engineering teams to eliminate them. The position requires a combination of strong troubleshooting, technical and communication skills and likely involves small software development work. This position requires no weekend support.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in support or development of distributed systems
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math or related field
- Sharp troubleshooting and analytical abilities, proven design skills, excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
- HTML, JavaScript, Java or C++, SQL experience a plus
- Track record of troubleshooting, simplifying, operational excellence and a focus on automation preferred
- Local candidates preferred
