Support Engineer/Process Control Technician Job

SUPPORT ENGINEER/PROCESS CONTROL TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ROCHESTER, NEW YORK.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Electro Mechanical assembly processes
- Fixture Design
- 3-D Modeling Software like (Pro-E/Creo)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support Manufacturing Engineering Technician support services.
- Development of mechanical assembly processes including: integration of robotic and automation solutions, process documentation, and fixture fabrication.
- Support production validation builds on new processes.
- Interface with manufacturing, engineering, vendor and subcontractor representatives.
- Support assembly processes for existing products, including: process improvements, general troubleshooting, and corrective actions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- AAS in technical field, with five (5+) years of experience.
- Electro-Mechanical Assembly process experience including fixture design, robotics/automation, and mechanical process equipment.
- 3D Modeling Software experience for fixture/tooling design (CREO/PRO-E preferred)
- Willingness to work and learn in fast paced production environment.
- Experience with IPC workmanship standards, including IPC-610 and J-STD-001.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision
- Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer
