Projektbeschreibung

Our client is the world's leading software corporation seeking a TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER with expertise in Lync Server 2010 and Office Communications Server 2007 R2. The candidate will act as secondary response for technical support, including escalated issues, mainly to end users, along with developers and corporate customers.

OVERVIEW

- Provides support via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic media.
- Works independently with limited supervision.
- May provide technical training, coaching and mentoring to other engineers.
- May act as substantial technical resource in product area.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong knowledge and has demonstrated technical proficiency in Lync Server 2010 and Office Communications Server 2007 R2
- Areas of knowledge and proficiency should include routing/transport, storage capacity planning, design/architecture and performance troubleshooting (Microsoft Exchange perspective), clustered deployments, disaster recovery, migration, mobile messaging, topology design with troubleshooting of these areas at the expert level within large network environments
- Solid understanding of Client Server, networking and Internet technologies fundamentals (ie certificates, SSL, VPN, UCE, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, SIP, HTTP, RPC and other protocols including use of troubleshooting tools -Scripting, packet sniffers and/or Netmon
- Secondary expertise in more than one of the following: Windows Operating Systems, Windows server Operating Systems, Active Directory (architecture, design, disaster recovery and troubleshooting), Cloud infrastructure (Office 365)
- The following a plus: Voice and Data Platforms (TDM PBX and IP-PBX, Video MCU) Voice and Data Networks (PSTN, Wireless, IP), UC & C Applications (Voice Call Control, Audio/Video/Web Conferencing, IM/Presence, CDR, E-911, Voice/Fax and Unified Messaging) Enterprise Interaction Management (EIM), Work Force Management, Sales Automation, Contact Centers (ACD, IVR, CRM), Application Integration Services ( TAPI, TSAPI, JTAPI, CSTA). Possess knowledge of SS7, GRR303, H.320, H.323 and SIP protocols. Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, Switches, Routers and Firewalls

This contract position is expected to be 3 to 6 months in duration.
