POSITION: Support Engineer Load Sharing Facilities (LSF)

DURATION: 6 months

LOCATION: Lund, Sweden 

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Must have at least 3-5+ years of experience with high performance computing environments such as LSF and VMware.
- Knowledge and experience with high performance computing environments such as LSF and VMware.
- Knowledge and experience in LSF such as, batch job operations, multicluster and scheduling etc
- Maintain and update all job descriptions on an annual basis in line with LSF requirements.
- Supporting critical applications on Linux/UNIX operating systems including OS installation and upgrade, package management, volume management, security auditing, and performance tuning.
- Must have some experience with enterprise storage technology (SAN or NAS).
- Experience with build, administration and support of Windows and Linux O/S (RedHat,Windows and/or Solaris).
- Experience with Shell/Perl Scripting and process automation (Puppet, HP Server Automation)
- Must have 3+ years of experience in general IT Infrastructure, Desktop Support and Client computing environments including: Windows, Linux client O/S, PCWindows ServerLDAP; VMware ESX; LAN/VPN.
- Must possess data center management skills including monitoring, change control, and documentation in a large enterprise environment.
- Must have strong understanding of problem management, incident management, and change control processes.
- Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to interact with, support and other technology professionals.
