Support Engineer - FIX, Unix - Banking - London 6 month contract: Day rate 350- 450 A top tier financial institution is seeking a client facing, technically astute Support Engineer - FIX, Unix, SQL to assume a key role within their cross asset
connectivity support team. This is a challenging opportunity within a global team where you will be primarily responsible for the support of the banks' external client base pertaining to issues around connectivity, execution and order routing. A Support
Engineer - FIX, Unix, SQL will also leverage expertise from the FIX on-boarding team and application engineering groups when required to ensure a top level service to the banks myriad of buy side clients. The team are looking for a Support Engineer -
FIX, Unix, SQL with strong production support skills of high volume, highly connected trading systems. You will have strong knowledge of one of more traded products from a support perspective and extensive experience troubleshooting trading outages
around the FIX protocol. Any understanding of Direct Market Access and high frequency trading will be advantageous. You will have strong technical skills incorporating Unix or Linux, scripting, SQL, Networking and distributed systems support. A Support
Engineer - FIX, Unix, SQL will be also be well experienced in phasing in new functionality into a live trading environment and exhibit an intelligent, lateral thought process toward support and implementation projects. This is a good opportunity for a
