OVERVIEW
- Acts as primary response for technical support
- Provides entry level support primarily for end users, along with developers and corporate customers via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic media
- Provides support for more complex products under general supervision
- Communicates with customers who possess a wide range of skill levels
- At a peer level, communicates problems to development and other internal organizations
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year related work experience required
- Solid understanding of standard computer science concepts required
- Microsoft Office suite skills, Outlook especially
- Experience with billing/invoicing systems or support
- Experience working in a call center/service environment
- Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level
- Excellent customer service skills, strong communication, problem solving, and technical writing skills required
- Must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of personal computer architecture and relevant operating systems, applications, and/or languages preferred
- Good communication, especially via e-mail (professional, grammar, clearly articulated)
This contract position is expected to be 7 months in duration with possibility of extension.
