Support Consultant ( PPDS, C-Series, Aerospace/Manufacturing Domain]

Support Consultant [PPDS, C-series and Global 7/8 k industrial, Aerospace/Manufacturing domain] is required to one of our clients, a global IT outsourcing organization to join their client project team based in Niort, France.

KEY SKILLS:

Understanding of PPDS, experience in supporting c-series and  supporting C-series and Global 7/8 k industrial planning, execution and production activities for electric systems-PPDS

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- To provide on-site support at critical supplier facility, at the direction of our customer executive management, in support of C-series and Global 7/8K industrial, manufacturing, planning, execution, qualification and production activities for the Electric Systems-Primary Power Distribution Systems (PPDS)
- The individual will be stationed to support  C-series and Global 7/8 industrial and quality activities. The position requires the individual to be at the manufacturing facility during normal weekday business hours 8am to 5pm. The position needs to be on-site 85-90% of the working days.
- The individual will be responsible to report  out and monitor daily status of production, rework, and retrofit, repairs  and qualification activities for in process production. Daily status reports and verbal communication will be required Monday-Friday.
- The position will require the individual representing customer Quality and Engineering functions in relation to investigations and quality investigations.
- The individual will potentially be responsible for visiting sub-tier suppliers in the European region to assist in industrial and planning activities.

FOLLOWING IS THE TASKS EXPECTATION AT A HIGH LEVEL:

- Daily production status report
- Daily support of end customer status call
- Test witnessing for customer for C-series/Global 7/8K qualification activities
- Visit sub-tier suppliers as required to assist in expediting hardware

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Exposure to aerospace domain
- Understanding of Power Distribution Systems
