Support Analyst (Oracle E-business/IPROC & Purchasing), 3 months initially, London

We are seeking a Support Analyst with Oracle E-business/IPROC & Purchasing experience for an initial 3 month contract working in London.

Responsibilities:

- Provide 1st Line Support to users of the Partnership Finance Solution in accordance with agreed service standards.
- Proactively monitor key system components to ensure they are functioning correctly eg iProcurement, Interfaces, concurrent requests, accounting creation, etc.
- Ensure all calls, updates and call closures are logged on the team's call logging system (Zendesk). Keep customers apprised of call progress, as well as call closure.
- Service process administration requests (eg managing Procurement Catalogues).
- Service system administration requests (eg managing User Profiles).
- Route calls to 2nd Line Support where necessary, requesting regular updates that can be relayed to the customer.
- Route calls to finance and procurement staff where request is of a transactional or commercial nature.
- Ensure appropriate authorisations are obtained for all requests (eg line management approval obtained for a user ID request, eg all access requests are verified against the Incompatible Responsibilities List, etc). Maintain authorisation matrices. Maintain iProc Hierarchy Diagrams.
- Communicate occurrence & progress of unscheduled outages to the business.
- Acquire a good Partnership knowledge of at least one process flow in Oracle.
- Make recommendations, based on evidence, to improve process able to inspire confidence in both knowledge & call handling.
- Calm, authoritative and constructive communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to deal with a wide variety of individuals in terms of skill-level, seniority and technical aptitude.
- Self motivated.
- Works methodically and carefully. Checks work before releasing.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Possesses a basic understanding of accounting.
- Able to network effectively with other parts of the team and wider, to ensure issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
- Able to quickly gather & absorb pertinent facts relating to a problem.
- Creative and enjoys finding solutions to problems.
- Able to multi-task and prioritise competing demands.

Technical skills:

- Previous experience using Oracle E-business Suite R12
- Good understanding of the iProc and Purchasing modules in E-business Suite R12
