1st Line Support Analyst; Switzerland, Bern; 3 months ongoing; €50/hr

My client a global giant in the pharmaceutical industry is looking to recruit a 1st Line Support Analyst/Engineer in Switzerland for 3 months (initially). The ideal candidate will provide support for the IT function with this company.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
- Joining the Windows 7 project team and resolving technical OS/Application/Testing issues.
- Installing computers and applications
- Testing applications
- Resolving software incidents
- Resolving hardware incidents
- Perform quality checks of installed hardware and software
- Participate in project meetings
- Provide hyper care IT support for Windows 7 activities
- Desktop and laptop installation
- Access Control (Granting access on Windows file systems

Non-Technical profile requirements:
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills;
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines;
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Methodology/Certification requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
- Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred;

Language proficiencies:
- English spoken and written;
