Support Analysis Rotating Shift

Our client is the signature software company of the Pacific Northwest seeking a Support Analyst to act as the point of escalation and resolution for technical support. CANDIDATES MUST WORK A ROTATING NIGHT SHIFT/DAY SHIFT SCHEDULE WITH AN ON-CALL ROTATION DURING THE WEEKEND.

OVERVIEW

- Triage issues directly from monitoring systems, internal personnel and/or from partners.
- Provide support via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic media.
- May act as technical lead and provide technical training, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers.
- May provide limited consulting to internal or external customers.
- May research technical documents and feature lists.

REQUIREMENTS

- 4 years' work related experience required.
- Experience working with Windows Server 2003-2008, Hyper-V
- Solid understanding of standard computer science concepts required
- Strong knowledge of personal computers and technical proficiency in relevant operating systems, applications, and/or languages required
- EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS MUST INCLUDE OPERATING SYSTEMS (COMMAND LINE, EVENT LOGS, ETC.), NETWORKING, IIS, AND SQL
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple project phases at the same time, and being able to manage ongoing operational issues with longer term strategic work
- Exceptional customer service, communication, problem solving, and technical writing skills required
- Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level
- Must have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Associate's degree in a technical field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Rotating night shift/day shift schedule with on-call rotation on the weekends required

This contract position is expected to be 5-6 months in duration.
