Supply Chain Project Manager
3 month contract - potential extension
€500 - €530 per day
Near Antwerp, Belgium
Our client, a global industry lead within the pharmaceutical space, is seeking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain project Manager to manage their regional and local IT Projects. As the Supply Chain Project Manager you will hold experience in supply chain planning, SAP APO, and assist in the delivery of our client's projects ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget.
Key Tasks and responsibilities
- Manage global, regional and local IT projects with varying levels of complexity
- Take responsibility for gathering project requirements, define/document solutions and associated cost pictures
- Responsible for managing project teams, develop and execute project plans, and assign individual responsibilities
- Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure commitment dates and project deliverables are met
- Deliver projects within requested timeframe and budget
- Experience in Supply Chain Planning, OMP, SAP APO
- Experience in Chemical or Pharma
- Experience or knowledge of BI concepts and solutions
Non-Technical profile requirements
- Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
Methodology/Certification requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. - Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
- Additional PMI certification is a plus
Language proficiencies
- English spoken and written
- Dutch is a plus
