Supply Chain Specialist

Supply Planning & Stock management.

Manage the supply chain relationship with hardware suppliers to maximize the commercial value.
The supply specialist is accountable to optimize: supply plans, on time deliveries, delivery and service quality and stock availability.
Communication with warehouse for an fluent intakes process
Contact point for all invoicing with VPC invoicing department to avoid payment issue
Responsible for a smooth purchase order process via global team to suppliers

Master data management.
Control the life cycle management process of all hardware products and updates systems based on the life cycle master data
Maintain all master data in SAP
Create new articles in SAP and make data available in the company
Contributor for on time master data for hardware in the company
Contact point with Global team about Master data changes
Responsible for updated pricing information in all systems

Reporting and Performance management.
Drive best-in-class supply and service levels
Measure, analyse, improve and control financial, service and throughput KPI's/Dashboard
Prepare and present periodic internal Operations Reviews

Qualitative indicators:
Accountable for correct and on time master data in ERP system
Accountable for actions to manage stock with a lifetime of 6-12 months to avoid high risk of value destruction
Key role in assuring right availability of terminal stock for acquisition and retention postpaid en prepaid. Availability of hardware = #1 buying reason for customers.
In-depth knowledge of mobile telecoms hardware market, helicopter view in hardware developments (supplier, competitors, VF global developments, new propositions, technological developments etc.) Good planning skills, to create a long term view and strategy in a very day to day driven business.
