Supply Chain Project Manager - PMO

SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT MANAGER - PMO - SWINDON

My Global client is looking for a skilled Supply Chain Project Manager/PMO for an initial 6 month contract based in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a major global brand going through change.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Review Resilience E&A Roadmap, and develop clear project plan to deliver against 2014 internal audit requirements and deliverables.
Identify mitigation plans for identified priority product portfolio.
Manage interdependencies with other projects, including Crisis & Continuity Management deliverables as part of OMS implementation, and network optimisation projects.
Ensure all Resilience risks are accurately cascaded and maintained.
Support 'Protect' agenda to ensure that RM inventory build led by Procurement is fully joined up with GSC envelope requirements
Based on the E&A Resilience Roadmap, clearly articulate 2015 agenda priorities for the E&A envelope, and ensure that this is underpinned with key deliverables and resource plans
Day to day delivery of project management and PMO tools and processes to effectively monitor progress and escalate issues and risks to relevant level of Governance
Project scoping documentation
High Level Milestones Plans underpinned with detailed work plans
Resource management plans
Issue and Risk Management Processes
Maintain project meetings calendar and relevant documentation to support audit trails.
Status Reporting and Progress Tracking
Project Stage Gate Documentation

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experienced project management practitioner with 5yrs+ experience, ideally gained within complex business projects.
Experience of working with and influencing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in a project environment.
Supply Chain operations experience gained in a global manufactured goods environment.
Specific experience of Resilience and/or similar Business Continuity projects.
Demonstrable ability to maintain strategic vision whilst simultaneously immersing themselves in day-to-day project activities. ie can operate well at high level whilst also displaying good analytical skills (desired)
Demonstrable high degree of business acumen
Demonstrable experience of quickly establishing strong and enduring relationships with leaders and staff
