Supply Chain Project Manager - Kent - 12 Month Contract

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will support a range of day to day and longer term operational and improvement activities to meet current and future business needs.

The role is likely to be varied, involve significant internal and external stakeholder engagement and will support a complex supply chain delivering cool-chain, controlled drug product to global destinations.
-

The nature of the position requires the successful job-holder to work alongside a range of internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, partners, depots, distributors and international Regulatory and Legislative Authorities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

-

A strong Pharmaceutical background coupled with excellent report writing, presentation and communication skills both orally and in writing are required.
-

This position is suitable for an experienced Pharmaceutical professional with excellent organisation, project management, Continuous Improvement, problem solving and inter-personnel skills - essential to succeed in this role.

A good understanding of ERP systems and their implementation, FDA/MHRA requirements, LEAN, pharmaceutical packaging, warehouse and materials management operations is required.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, this responsible position would be suitable for an experienced Pharmaceutical professional, with a number of year's previous experience in the fields of Supply Chain/Materials/Operations/Logistics Management who can take a senior but hands-on approach. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will hold sufficient industry experience and personal gravitas to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
