Supply Chain Project Manager - Business Focussed

Our client are currently seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager who has worked on the full supply chain life cycle. If you have any experience in the pharmaceutical idustry that would be an adavntage but certainly not essential. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating detailed project plans, managing conflicts, communicating status, and ensuring that tasks get completed on-time and in a quality manner.

Key Responsibilities:

. Manage large business projects in support of Manufacturing, Packaging, and Distribution communities
. Deliver projects on-time, within budget, and in a quality manner
. Ability to interact with all levels of the organisation, elicits cooperation from senior management, and influence cross-functional teams in a Matrix environment
. Work closely with: local and global quality assurance organisations
. Develop project justifications, business cases, and corresponding return on investment estimates for funding requests
. Communicate project status clearly and succinctly to senior management by delivering complex messages in business terms
. Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

. Relevant project management certificates a plus (eg PMP, PMI, etc.)
. Working on Supply Chain projects
. Pharmaceutical experience would be an advantage but not essential
. Experience of large, complex project management, utilising Microsoft project or an equilivant tool
. Experience preferred with automated testing tools and configuration management concepts
. Strong problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organisation, priorisation, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
. Self motivated and action orientated with a strong results and deliverables focus and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and follow up on issues with minimal direction
. Strong attention to detail

Rate: GBP 350 - GBP 450 per day

Location: - Horsham, West Sussex (successful candidates must be able to drive)
