Supply Chain Operations Expert, Contract, Switzerland

For our Life Science client in Basel, we are seeking a Supply Chain Operations Expert

Start Date: 1st August 2016

End Date: 31st January 2017

Location: Basel

Language: English, German is a plus

Your Role:

- Demand/Order flow monitoring and maintenance
- Monitoring and maintenance of correct system transactions with regards to the fulfilment of order processes, demand availability, accuracy and providing support for improvements
- Controlling and maintenance of high quality of order fulfilment
- Ensuring on-time availability of out-bound
- Preparation and ensuring of availability of appropriate documentations and approvals to ensure steady product flow
- Monitoring of availability and accuracy of Net Requirements
- Ensuring timely feedback to customers
- Facilitation for communication between customers and vendors
- Process and performance improvement
- Ensuring GMP and Regulatory Requirement compliance
- Support unit for Life Cycle activities
- Support and coaching of trainees and new associates
- Support set-up and implementation of supply chain initiatives
- Support organisation of annual workshops
- Service provider for escalation issues
- Supporting bottleneck supply issues
- Prioritisation of deliveries in collaboration with logistics team

Your Experience:

- Supply Chain formal education
- APICS certification
- 1-2 years in similar role/customer service

Plus skills:

- Experience in Production Site, CPO, Logistics
- German language skills
