SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER - SC CLEARED

OPPORTUNITY WITHIN A LARGE, PRESTIGIOUS ENVIROMENT

This is a job opportunity for a 6 month contract (possible extension) within a prestigious Government organisation within the supply chain/logistics area. You will be an integral part of the team, gain valuable experience and have an opportunity to network within a large organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You daily duties will include procurement and through life management of a global stockpile of indirect and ceremonial munitions and the associated parts that go with them; managing the supply chain to ensure availability to the customers, and though life offers best value for money and it safe for usage. You will also have several health & safety and environmental responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

For this job you will need experience within the supply chain/logistics field, having worked in a similar role although not necessarily with this type of stock. You will need knowledge of health and safety from a management point of view, projects management skills to ensure improvements are implemented correctly, environmental management skills and quality management knowledge. Coming from an engineering environment or one where hazardous materials are used would also be an advantage.
