Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities:

* Owner of all aspects of materials management in support of prototype product builds
* Support engineers in the sourcing of materials
* Lead the execution and processing of purchase requisitions for materials
* Coordinate and manage the material receipt of materials
* Support engineers in the review and assessment of alternate component options
* Lead the supplier coordination activities associated with prototype builds at contract manufacturer
* Negotiation skills in defining and managing contractual and critical service level agreements
* Undaunting commitment to delivery of defined engineering prototype materials and product
* Master innovator in finding solutions to unique and obscure disruptions to continuity of supply.
* Work closely with Project Managers with regards to costing of prototype builds
* Define and manage business processes associated with supply base / programs and finance teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* College degree in business or technical discipline is preferred
* 5+ years experience in supply chain management, product development, component sourcing role
* Experience working within contract manufacturing environment
* Nimble and resourceful in use of caffeine and sugar to empower self and others
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Computer literate (MS Office tools)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* ISM and/or APICS involvement preferred
* Lean manufacturing experience in both high /low mix models
