Supply Chain Manager

Background
Our Central Government client is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager with 'Land Environment' experience for a 6 month contract based in Bristol. You will be part of a small team responsible for providing a wide range of support to the Senior Supply Chain Manager in relation to supportability of the Armoured Vehicles Programmes (AVP), in particular the In-Service Support Programme (ISPP) which includes C2, Warrior, CVRT & FV430/Bulldog, T2 (Tytan and Trojan) and the Littoral and Panther Platforms.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: 1. Produce Forward and Reverse Supply Chain Performance Management Statistics and collate responses from all stakeholders prior to Management Boards. 2. Manage all consumables inventory for ISPP Platforms. 3. Monitor and report performance of all demands in relation to ISPP Platforms including responses to the Critical Operational Spares List (COSL). 4. Manage Issue/Receipt Vouchers and consignment tracking information in relation to ISPP Platforms under the direction of Equipment/Output Managers. 5. Analyse through life requirements for ISPP Platforms and assess risks. 6. Plan for obsolescence as directed by the Equipment/Platform Managers. 7. Manage supersessions: create, promulgate and close supersession cases. 8. Any other tasks deemed reasonably commensurate with the post.

Skills/Experience Required
You must have experience of at least one of the following inventory systems: 1. OLIVER 2. EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) 3. Vital 4. SAPMT (support activity planning and management tool)

Formal Qualifications Required
It is highly desirable that you are currently working towards Level 3 on your inventory license.
