Supply Chain Manager

How would you like to join an innovative Food Manufacturing company based in East London? They now have a requirement for a Supply Chain Manager to take the company forward to the next level. Role: A key member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead a large team of talented people working across the Planning and Logistics functions within an integrated Supply Chain. As owner of the global supply network you will be responsible for the on-going design,development and implementation of a network and systems which match the strategic plans for the business. You will therefore manage all aspects of the "non physical' supply chain (purchasing,production and materials planning,forecasting,purchase and sales order processing, and demand planning) In addition you will also be responsible for the 'physical' supply chain, ie: logistics in that you will manage the flow of resources from point to origin to their destination, this will include equipment,ingredients,people etc. The logistics of physical items involves Stock Control and Warehousing. In doing so you will provide clear leadership to your team you will champion a 'right first time' ethos founded on professionalism and personal responsibility: by setting agreed targets and monitoring performance you will achieve Continuous Improvement of people,processes and results. Where necessary you will devise and implement new procedures/working practices to meet both business and CI goals.Finally you will play a key role in the implementation of new ERP systems and ensure they are aligned to the business plans. Experience Required: Supply Chain experience in a Food or FMCG environment Knowledge of ERP systems Qualification in Supply Chain Management would be desirable CIPS or CILT UK Qualified Proven ability to lead and influence others Previous experience with both Planning and Logistics departments Global Supply Chain experience would be desirable The company offer an attractive salary up to 70k + Car + Flexible Benefits package.
