Supply Chain ~ Drug Development

For one of our clients, a key pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible to take care of cost, budget and sales for clinical deliveries.

Start date: as soon as possible

End date: 31/12/2018

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Tasks:

- Creates and maintains the end-to-end supply plan from Clinical Finished Goods to Drug Substance
- Leads the Clinical Demand Planning Meeting ensuring alignment between demand and supply
- Ensures demand fulfilment and coverage of supply and regulatory aspects.
- Optimizes the inventory strategy
- Actively contributes to the portfolio manufacturing schedule alignment
- Defines most cost-efficient ordering levels, minimizing waste and allowing flexibility to accommodate demand variability
- Manages ordering activities and master data requirements in SAP within the scope of the role
- Drives the comparator sourcing activities and comparator blinding strategy

Skills

- 5 years of practical experience in chemical/pharmaceutical industry or 3 years of experience in the Supply Chain field
- Good knowledge about the Drug Development process
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (eg GMP, HSE etc.).
- Very good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
