Supply Chain Coordinator

Position Overview:
Seeking Supply Chain Coordinator to join the Supply Chain team to manage the 3pl inbounds/outbounds. You will be responsible for planning and execution of product movements and inventory at assigned locations. Responsible for balancing customer demand with supply availability in the 1-8 week time frame. Will also be accountable for managing inventory levels, safety stock levels as well as replenishment planning and execution. Ensures that our 3rd party locations are meeting agreed-to service levels and following up to resolve all open issues. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for managing cost, performance metrics, and identifying process improvements. Supports key projects and analysis as required.

Successful candidates will have a high learning capacity as well as have the ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manages inventory transfers and maintains inventory stock levels at 3rd party locations (40%)
Balancing customer demand and supply availability (20%)
Managing Service Level Agreement (SLA) with 3rd party locations and resolving issues (20%)
Acts as a liaison between Customer Service, QA, Accounting and 3rd party locations (10%)
Support key projects and analysis as required (10%)

REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Customer Service or other logistics role
Knowledge and experience with Inventory Management
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office toolset or equivalent
Must be able to take after hours calls
Understanding of managing costs, performance metrics and identified process improvements
Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
Proven team player
Detail-oriented
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Strong listening skills, written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers and suppliers
Ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency

Preferred:
ERP application experience
SAP knowledge and experience
Experience working with 3rd party warehouses
Experience with inventory control concepts and processes
Experience dealing with outside suppliers and contractors
