Supply Chain Controller/Planner

My client is a leading Global Electronics company with offices in Basingstoke offering excellent facilities including free parking, staff shop and gym.

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Controller/Planner to work on a maternity cover of 13 months.

You will be responsible for the procurement and distribution of professional goods to satisfy market demands and maximise sales opportunities in the relevant business groups. The role involves actively looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction, with the most cost effective level of inventory.

You will offer assistance and enhance communication and build strong relationships with the Business Group accounts managers; Proactively manage availability and negotiate improvements with suppliers; be Responsible for the service level for customer order and potentials, ensure availability information is maintained and accurately displayed for the delivery schedules; Monitor KPIs to ensure divergences are understood and corrected where appropriate and any necessary actions are clearly understood and carried out.

You should have experience in Supply Chain Operations in a similar role with a proactive work ethic. A solid working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
