SUPPLY CHAIN CONTROLLER - WEST MIDLANDS - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - £18PH

They are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Controller to join their team on a 6 Month contract based in their office in The West Midlands.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that allocated purchased parts are delivered on time, to the correct level of quality and at the right cost to support both internal and external customer requirements.

Main responsibilities:

- Manage the commodity schedules for all purchased parts
- Manage and coordinate delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the plan.
- Provide inventory and capacity data on purchased parts for the SIOP process.
- Ensure resolution to all unverified invoice queries.
- Ensure timely progression of RFQ's within allocated suppliers.

The right candidate should possess the following skills:

- Experience of working within a supply chain environment.
- High levels of customer focus
- Ability to manage risk
- Knowledge and experience of working with production planning systems
- Data driven
- Good problem solving ability
