The role:
As Sourcing engineer you will be involved in new product introduction projects which involve Supplier relations and all parts of the manufacturing engineering business, including Mechanical machined components and hardware and electrical components, boards and systems. The Sourcing Engineer will work with a number of supplier and their sub-tiers to ensure robust and timely launch or delivery of components required for new product introduction with the company.

Due to growth and expansion, the Sourcing Engineer will be working with manufacturing processes and quality processes within the company and will be involved in the provision of technical support and information to suppliers. The technical support required can be in the area of machined metals or electronic products.

The Person:
As an experienced Manufacturing, Production, Process or Quality engineer you will have worked on NPI projects within an aerospace or automotive environment. You should have experience of processes and documentation of processes and experience in a problem solving or supplier liaison role.

Technical:
PFMEA, Process mapping, 8D, Quality, Cause and effect, Manufacturing, concessions, supply Chain.
