Supply Chain Associate

Supply Chain Associate sought by our global Pharmaceutical & Animal Health client for their manufacturing site on Merseyside.

This is a rolling 6 month contract opportunity for the right candidate and is a 30 hour per week role. 30 hours can be completed in a 4 day working week pattern.

As Supply Chain Associate you will be responsible for supporting the Regional Supply Chain Leaders translating demand from both make to stock and make to order markets across EMEA.

You will be responsible for issuing both forecast and firm orders to the clients own manufacturing facilities as well as a number of external manufacturers. You will report in key performance indicators.

As with most highly regulated industries quality control is a critical aspect of the manufacturing process. Therefore you should be aware of current international manufacturing and quality standards.

You will assure that SAP Master Data is also established for new product launches. As well as monitoring and tracking artwork changes.

To be successful you will have broad experience in a regulated environment preferably pharmaceuticals however our client will also consider experienced supply chain individuals with food, medical devices or similar environments.

Whatever your industry background you must have 3-5 years supply chain experience and a working knowledge of scheduling in SAP, ideally with APO as your key technical skill. You will also ideally have Master Scheduler experience.

You will be CIPM Certified or at least working towards the same.

As a Supply Chain Associate you will be the primary owner of the relationship with third party manufacturers therefore a broad background interacting directly with suppliers is essential.

You will be well organised and have a st6rong results focus. You will also have excellent written and spoken English, be IT literate and have a strong customer focus.
