Supply Chain Advisor

SUPPLY CHAIN ADVISOR - EXPORT CONTROL, EXTERNAL SUPPLIES

A Supply Chain Advisor with Export Control and External Supplies skills/experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Portsmouth

The successful candidate will work as part of the Governance Team to support better decision-making within our client's business through the provision of Export Control information the Supply Chain Team requires to operate effectively and in full compliance with processes and regulatory requirements.

OVERVIEW OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN ADVISOR CONTRACT ROLE

- Development of target list
- Issue of Export Control documents to identified suppliers
- Progress of the same and recording of the results in an Export Control database
- Liaison with key internal stakeholders and suppliers

- Knowledge of Export Control requirements
- Excellent awareness of the potential sources of data
- Excellent stakeholder engagement
- Looks for ways to improve customer service/experience

- Computer literate - Excel, Word, ERP systems knowledge/skills

The role is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire - commutable from Southampton, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Aldershot, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester.
