Supply Chain Accounting Process Leader Job

SUPPLY CHAIN ACCOUNTING PROCESS LEADER NEEDED for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Alpharetta GA.

THE BIG PICTURE- TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Excellent understanding of finance, business management and the interrelationships among these disciplines.
- Corporate Supply Chain experience (not Plant level) and cost accounting.
- Must have experience with SAP and be good in Excel
- Must be able to travel about twice a month to Knoxville and every 6 weeks to Mexico.
- Four (4) year Accounting degree. CPA is a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage the North America Supply Chain Accounting team to satisfy the information and accounting needs of the North American businesses in a cost efficient manner.
- Provide direction for the full end-to-end process of accounting for Cost of Manufacturing (COM), Cost of Sales (COS), Distribution Accounting and LIFO Reporting including centralization of activities, process design changes and change management efforts.
- Provide accurate and timely analysis of mill and sector monthly operating results for COM, COS, Distribution Expense.
- Provide expertise in the development, implementation, and interpretation of corporate financial policies related to cost of sales and inventories.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Excellent understanding of cost accounting and general accounting operations are required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other Business degree and ten (10) plus years of professional experience.
- Previous exposure to manufacturing environments, business analysis, and other staff accounting assignments, and leading a team.
- High-school diploma or GED
